Wiebke, who are you? Where are you from and what have you done so far in life?
I’m Wiebke Arendt, I am 38 years old and I am from Germany currently living in Hamburg. I have 15 years of sales experience and have always worked in technical parts and my most recent position prior to joining with EP was with Jungheinrich Profishop. Here I was the team leader for sales in Switzerland and built up a vast knowledge of the material handling industry in European markets.

I speak German, English and French… and I can order a pizza in Italian!

What has been your main motivation to join EP?

My main motivation was always trying something new and taking on a challenge. I love the international spirit and approach here at EP Equipment and the role here fit perfectly with my area of expertise. I have always worked closely with dealers and I know what they want and what they need. Now I can utilise these skills with new and exciting products and a team of hardworking and motivated people. I think I can really find my place here with EP.

I have taken on the role of Sales Coordinator supporting Sales Manager Julian Büter predominantly in the German and Austrian markets. However I am dedicated to learning every aspect of the sales process here at EP and am offering support wherever is needed including in our distribution centres in Germany and Belgium.

Which product do you find most interesting and what do you want other people to know about the product?

Without sounding too fair I would have to say every product with EP! The lithium-ion product range here is market changing and I am proud to be offering EP dealers such a great portfolio. But if I had to choose… as someone with experience working in warehouses, the entry level EFL 181 forklifts are very interesting to me. The EFL range is the most important article we can offer to our dealers and is really changing the market.

What hobbies do you have and how do you spend your weekends?
I enjoy cycling and living in Hamburg this is very easy for me! I love the cinema and theater and of course shopping. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and sitting out side in the sunshine as much as possible and travelling whenever I can!

What is your biggest wish for your first year at EP?

My biggest goal for my first year with EP is to find my feet and really get an in-depth understanding of everything that happens here so I can support our dealers as much as possible.  Oh and of course to smash our targets and help everyone grow together!

We’re very happy to have Wiebke in the EP family.
