EP Equipment at National Fruit Show UK 2018

For more than 80 years the National Fruit Show is the leading trade show in the UK to share trends and ideas within the industry. In 2018 the show was held in the Kent Event Centre in the city of Detling on October 24th &25th. This year was also the first year for EP Equipment to showcase some of our products to the industry.

EP Equipment & Mobitech

In cooperation with our partner Mobitech from Kent, a company with strong connections into the agriculture industry, EP presented their top selling electric pallet trucks to the fruit industry. Steve Rumbelow, Sales Director at Mobitech: “We have seen large interest in the innovative products from EP Equipment at this years show. The fruit industry is looking for simple, low-maintenance machines. With EP products we offer them the product they need at a great price. Our customers really liked the concept of the EP machines and we were able to sell several units right off the stands with many demos and quotations queuing up for the next days”.

EPT 12EZ & EPT 20ET

At the venue Mobitech focused on the introduction of the EPT 12EZ and EPT 20ET to the industry. With the EPT 12EZ, the world smallest and lightest full electric, Li-Ion pallet truck, EP offers a product perfect for daily, occasional transport of pallets up to 1200Kg. The big advantage lies in the energy source, a 20Ah Li-Ion battery that can be charged in 2.5 hours and easily replaced as it only weighs 3.7kg. At the same time the truck has the same size as a manual pallet truck and can be used in small spaces. With the EPT 20ET

Mobitech showed a real workhorse from EP Equipment. Powered by 4 Gel batteries, the EPT 20ET is designed around a 48V motor, providing more power as well as increased gradeability to the operator. The truck is equipped with a special suspension within the hydraulics system that allows smooth ride also on very uneven floor, common in the agricultural world. Due to its special features, the truck is perfect for the requirements at the fruit show and received great feedback.

The event was a great success for Mobitech and EP Equipment.
