What is the background of EP Equipment in North America
EP Group has a long and proud history in North America as the owner of Big Lift which markets the Big Joe brand of material handling equipment. Big Joe was founded in 1951 and is well regarded as a pioneer of the Class III “walk behind” lift truck market segment. The Big Joe channel will continue to focus on innovative niche products and “in between” handling applications while EP Equipment has now launched the EP brand to focus on being the market leader of converting consumers from LP gas and diesel forklifts to electric forklifts through bringing industry changing products including “purpose built” lithium ion forklifts to the market.
EP Equipment North America will be run by Jason Bratton and his leadership team and supported by the experience and knowledge of over one hundred and fifty North American based team members that possess deep expertise in serving the needs of North American material handling consumers.
What is the goal of EP Equipment in North America?
Simply put, the goal is to change the market and be the industry leader in electrification of forklifts. We are here to partner with local lift truck distributors and end users to lead the change from LP gas and diesel forklifts to lithium ion machines, keeping all the advantages of IC trucks, but giving it the latest, state of the art Lithium Ion technology.
