Last week our team met again in Belgium for our Annual company meeting (and celebration) and the growth was clear! The EP DC meeting space is no longer big enough to fit our entire European team, and the announcement that we are moving to a bigger facility could not have come at a better time.
The agenda for the day was full of exciting activities. The day started off with a company meeting, where we talked about the great accomplishments of 2022 and the new challenges for 2023. Many new people have joined the company since January and even more have joined us since the last meeting, so this was the perfect opportunity to introduce the new members to the EP Europe team and get everyone up to speed on just how fast we are growing in every department.
2023 Nothing is Impossible
With presentations from Sang Tian, Bennit Schmieder and Arjan Van Zanten we found out about the successes of 2022 with reflection on our global dealer event and record-breaking pallet truck sale success! Congratulations were in order, but these presentations did not ignore the challenges we will face in 2023 to maintain our growth rate and further improve our company strategy to better support our dealership network.
With the 2023 message “Nothing is Impossible” we build on our industry changing year in 2022 and tackle even more new challenges and developments with a new and powerful outlook in every department.
The biggest morning announcement was the introduction to the team from Francois De Tandt that we will be moving our European HQ to a large facility, with plans to host even more European events and create a showroom for our dealers to display our game changing products to the industry.
Technical Training
Understanding our products at every level.
After morning meetings, the Sales Managers had a sales meeting and the rest of the team took part in a technical training. Here at EP Equipment all team members including sales, operations, marketing and accounting took part as we know the importance of every department knowing about the products, we are working with order to provide the best service to or dealers.
There were four different Technical stations hosted by technical members of staff at EP. These sections were:
— Wheel change station with Patrice, Technical Support
— Lithium-ion batteries with Hardy, Technical Manager
— EP care – error code messages with Veronique, After Sales
— Changing pallet truck settings via the controller with Andreas, VP Technical
The day ended with some team building with bowling and Karaoke in true EP Style, and we left refreshed and energized, ready to take on the year.
