Self-Propelled Conveyor Belt Loader

Towable

About The ZL-CBM70

The ZL-CBM70 towable self-propelled conveyor belt loader, developed by our company, is a non-motorized machine characterized by its aesthetic design, lightness, and practicality. It features stepless adjustment according to aircraft hatch heights, facilitating the loading and unloading of luggage and cargo. The platform of this belt loader has a height range of 1200 to 3600mm above the ground.

Product Advantages

This towable self-propelled conveyor belt loader with the entire truck driven by a hydraulic gear pump powered by an engine. The direction of travel is controlled manually by pushing the tow bar, and the direction of advancement is adjusted by rotating the tow bar. The truck is cost-effective, durable, and economical to maintain. Furthermore, the manual operation results in a slow travel speed, and it is equipped with a safe docking system that displays the docking distance and provides audible and visual alarms, significantly enhancing safety when docking with aircraft hatches.

Main Structure and Configuration

01// Lifting Mechanism Assembly

  • The lifting mechanism assembly includes front and rear lifting frames.
  • The front lifting frame is welded from rectangular tubes. The upper end connects to the conveyor frame via rollers; the lower end connects to the chassis via a pivot pin; and the middle section is driven by a front hydraulic cylinder.
  • The rear lifting frame is also welded from rectangular tubes. Both the upper and lower ends connect to the conveyor frame and chassis via pivot pins, respectively; and the middle section is driven by a rear hydraulic cylinder.

02// Electrical System

The electrical system operates at 12V and primarily consists of a storage battery, drive system, control system, operating system, and lighting system. The operation is mainly divided into two areas: one is the operation box dashboard, and the other is the control lever panel. The operation box dashboard and the control lever panel is shown in the figure below:

03// Chassis Assembly

The chassis assembly is the core component of the entire machine, primarily comprising a welded chassis, traction assembly, rear axle assembly, power system assembly, engine hood assembly, diesel tank assembly, hydraulic oil tank assembly, electrical control box, fire extinguisher, and other components.

04// Conveyor Frame Assembly

The sides of the conveyor frame are constructed with 16# channel steel, and the middle section is integrally welded with rectangular tubes. The front and rear rollers are installed at the front and rear of the conveyor frame via bolts. The support rollers are mounted within the sheet-type grooves on the inside of the main beams. Anti-deviation devices are installed at the front and rear of the conveyor frame. The adjustable roller at the tail can be moved forwards or backwards via screws, achieving the purposes of tensioning the drive belt and reducing deviation. The hydraulic motor is installed on the left side of the conveyor frame, driving the rear roller via a chain and sprocket to rotate the conveyor belt. The support at the rear lower part of the conveyor frame’s longitudinal beam connects to the rear lifting frame, while the front end rests on nylon sliders of the front lifting frame. The longitudinal beam of the conveyor frame rises and descends with the lifting frames as the front and rear hydraulic cylinders extend and retract.

05// Hydraulic System

  • The hydraulic system primarily consists of a reservoir, suction filter, shut-off valve, oil pump, check valve, solenoid directional valve, bidirectional hydraulic lock, front/rear lifting cylinders, stabilizing foot cylinder, pressure gauge, oil pipes, and piping accessories.
  • Bidirectional hydraulic locks are installed on both the lifting cylinders and stabilizing foot cylinder. When the line pressure suddenly disappears, the bidirectional hydraulic lock can lock the cylinder piston rod in any position to prevent accidents.
  • A throttle valve is installed on the left front stabilizing foot cylinder to ensure it extends or retracts last. The belt loader can only move after the stabilizing feet are fully deployed.
  • Emergency System: In the event of truck failure, an emergency electric pump or manual pump can complete all operations.

06// Spare Parts and Accessories

Each truck is equipped with one spare tire, one 8kg dry powder fire extinguisher, two rubber wheel chocks, one repair kit for various oil cylinders, and a set of onboard maintenance tools.
