In the world of forklifts and material handling equipment, innovation and quality are paramount. That’s precisely what we discovered when we sat down with Michel Alexeef, the Managing Director of Azur Technologies, a well-established company with 27 years of experience in the business. In this interview, Michel shared his insights into what attracted him to EP Equipment and how this choice has transformed their forklift offerings.

A Shift Towards Electric Forklifts

Azur Technologies’s journey in material handling took an intriguing turn when they ventured into the world of EP Equipment. As Michel describes, “What interested me about EP was that instead of the famous diesel engines in the yard forklifts, EP had replaced them with an electric motor.”

This switch from diesel to electric power is a game-changer for the industry. It brought about several advantages that immediately caught Michel’s attention.

The Silent, Clean, and Low-Maintenance Alternative

The benefits of this transition are several. Michel enthusiastically shared, “First and foremost, the equipment is very well-designed. In my experience, I’ve verified the manufacturing quality of these machines, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the very good value for money.”

One of the most significant advantages of EP trucks for Azur Technologies and their customers is the elimination of many common issues associated with traditional diesel forklifts. Electric forklifts don’t generate heat on the operator’s seat, they are silent, and they produce zero emissions. Moreover, they require less maintenance as there’s no need for oil changes, air filters, diesel filters, or oil filters.

The transition to Li-ion not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also reduces operational costs and enhances operator comfort. It’s a win-win situation.

A Strong Partnership with EP Equipment

Azur Technologies embarked on their journey with EP Equipment almost a year ago, and it has been a successful partnership ever since. Michel proudly states, “We sell these machines in the Île de France region, and we’ve already sold a good thirty machines with the EP brand. I have to say that we’re very satisfied.”

What sets this partnership apart is not just the quality of EP Equipment, but also the excellent support and cooperation they receive from EP’s sales and technical departments. Michel notes, “We have a good relationship with the sales department, the technical department, and the supply of small spare parts. It’s very high-quality service.”

Insights from Satisfied Customers: A Testimonial Journey

Together with Michel Alexeef we visited two of his customers to hear how their journey with EP’s lithium powered forklifts is going. The first stop was Print Pack Emballages and then Sports & Paysages. These companies operate in distinct fields, each facing unique challenges in their day-to-day operations.

Print Pack Emballages: Navigating Efficiency in Tight Spaces

Our first stop was Print Pack Emballages, where we met Mason Steve, a dedicated warehouse worker. Print Pack Emballages, a company specializing in packaging solutions, recently adopted the CPD18TVL compact forklift from EP Equipment.

Mason greeted us with a smile and shared his experience, “Hello, I’m Mason Steve, a warehouse worker at Print Pack. I use this compact forklift from EP Equipment that navigates tight aisles and stacks goods at a good height. It reaches a good height and operates smoothly. So, overall, it’s a pretty good truck.”

In the bustling environment of Print Pack Emballages, where efficiency is key, the CPD18TVL forklift proved to be invaluable. Its compact design and smooth operation allow workers like Mason to manoeuvre through narrow spaces effortlessly.

Sports & Paysages: A Green Transition for a Greener Tomorrow

Our next destination was Sports & Paysages, a company who is passionate about environmental sustainability. Sports & Paysages specializes in landscaping services and has made a conscious decision to embrace eco-friendly practices.

David Lago, Operations Manager, shared his enthusiasm: “Hello, I’m David Lagos, from Sport & Paysage company. We’ve chosen to partner with Azur Technologies.

We wanted to replace our diesel forklift with an electric one. In a CSR move, we aim to progressively transition our fleet with more EP Equipment trucks and cut our carbon footprint. We’re extremely happy with this truck.”

In line with their corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals, Sports & Paysages opted for the EFL253 Li-ion forklift from EP Equipment. This decision not only aligns with their environmental initiatives but also enhances their operational efficiency. By partnering with Azur Technologies and adopting EP Equipment’s electric forklifts, Sports & Paysages is taking significant strides towards reducing their carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.

With satisfied customers like Print Pack Emballages and Sports & Paysages, the impact of EP Equipment on the industry is not just about machinery; it’s about transforming the way businesses operate and inspiring a shift towards eco-conscious practices.

In the world of forklifts, the transition from diesel to Li-ion is a significant step forward. At EP Equipment, with our products that simply work, we are transforming the landscape of material handling. We thank Michel Alexeef for supplying the customers and sharing with us his experience with EP.
