Clean Energy at the Core of Our Production
Solar Energy at Anji North:
At the Anji North Factory, EP Equipment has embarked on a transformative journey to cleaner production through the implementation of a large-scale photovoltaic power project.
In the first phase, 17,000 square meters of rooftop space have been equipped with solar panels. Between January and September 2024, these modules generated an impressive 1.49 million kWh of electricity—enough to meet a significant portion of the factory’s operational energy demands.
“The system currently supports self-generation and self-consumption,” explains Mr. Wang Qixiang, Project Manager of Environmental Protection at Sinopower Equipment. “As we move into Phase II, we’ll add energy storage equipment to fully power the facility and potentially contribute to the local grid.”
Once complete, the project will expand to 75,000 square meters, representing a major step toward energy self-sufficiency and sustainable manufacturing.
Hydropower at Hubei:
In Hubei Province, EP’s new casting production facility is another shining example of green energy integration. Spanning 66,667 square meters, the plant operates primarily on clean hydroelectric power sourced from the Danjiang Hydropower Station, which boasts a 900,000 kW capacity and an annual output of 3.8 billion kWh.
Hydropower provides several advantages:

- Minimal environmental impact
- Efficient use of regional water resources
Thanks to this green power source, the Hubei facility is helping EP Equipment reach an annual production figure of 300,000 units, all while supporting regional efforts in flood control, irrigation, tourism, and economic development.

From IC to Electric: The EFXZ Forklift
