Dilara Caymaz – New AGV Implementation Specialist

1. Dilara, who are you? Where are you from, and what have you done so far in life?

Hello, I’m Dilara Caymaz. I’m 24 years old. I live in Turkey with a very supportive life partner and my three cats. I have diverse work experience. I worked as a Project Support and Project Engineer at Nestlé Turkey, where I executed various projects. Furthermore, I also worked on a research project investigating the critical success factors of ERP processes in manufacturing enterprises. Currently, I am working as a Sales & AGV Product Specialist at EP Equipment Europe, responsible for analysing customer use cases, deploying and training EP dealers, providing customer service, and collaborating with other teams.

2. What has been your main motivation to join EP?

I am here to witness the journey of a product that I think is really innovative and simple, and to be able to develop with it.

3. Which product do you find most interesting, and what do you want other people to know about this product?

Of course, I think that the XP15 product, which I also work as a product specialist, is a really interesting product. In general, the working principle of this product is always a matter of curiosity. Of course, they also question how the price is so cheap.

4. How do you think EP Equipment compares to other equipment in the material handling market?

Frankly, EP is a company that I think has proven itself in terms of lithium-ion batteries, after-sales customer relations and spare parts compared to most companies.

5. What previous experiences do you have with AMR?

Before working for this organization, I was working as a project engineer at Nestle. During this process, I had the opportunity to run two different AGV projects and bring them to life. I carried out many project steps such as the design of these projects and purchasing processes.

6. In your opinion, what makes the XP15 unique?

Of course, there are few AGVs that can be used manually in the market. But the main difference is that I think it is impossible to find a robot with such a navigation system and such a price as this product in another product in the market. This makes it unique.

7. What hobbies do you have, and how do you spend your weekends?

In general, my husband and I enjoy going for nature walks, cooking together, and camping together in our camper van.

8. What is your biggest wish for your first year at EP?

I hope I can develop and grow with this product and this team. Also, I hope I can add good things to this team.

Gertjan Vink – New AGV Sales Manager

1. Gertjan, who are you? Where are you from, and what have you done so far in life?

My name is Gertjan Vink and I live in the Netherlands, that beautiful country where you see a lot of bicycles and sometimes people on wooden shoes. I have been working in logistics all my life, in several positions. I started at logistic providers in sales and after some time I found my way into the material handling as sales manager for a supplier of weighing equipment.

2. What has been your main motivation to join EP?

The energy and fast moving forwardness of the company was and still appeals to me. You find this within the complete team. EP is driven to develop products which are unique in their non-complexity, and at the same time still fulfilling their tasks and the needs at customer’s site.

3. Which product do you find most interesting, and what do you want other people to know about this product?

The XP 15 has become my baby to care for, nurture and let grow.

4. How do you think EP Equipment compares to other equipment in the material handling market?

It is unique in non-complexity.

5. What previous experiences do you have with AMR?

I was involved in some projects where AGV’s were being used. I always found it an interesting approach and way of working. Now I see it up closer and see the wide variety of applications where the EP AMR XP15 can be deployed. It is very interesting to find the best solutions and think along with the customers in their needs and expectations.

6. In your opinion, what makes the XP15 unique?

As in the complete EP product range: its uniqueness, the flexibility, non complexity and fast implementation. This is a no nonsense approach and solution, no programming required, up and running in less than two days (depending on the size and the scope of the project).

7. What hobbies do you have, and how do you spend your weekends?

I like to see friends, do long walks at the beach. A nice dinner, cooking, try to catch up on my reading list.

8. What is your biggest wish for your first year at EP?

Achieve, brand, develop, learn, implement: In other words push our solution to the market, make sure the product is well known, learn more by interesting discussions with customers, develop more solution-based applications and implement great solutions that work. Next to that: let our EP team grow (together).
