Big Joe Forklifts, as part of the EP Group, introduced the new LiST Series of Lithium Integrated Smart Trucks featuring the exclusive Easy Exchange battery system and the larger, heavy-duty, J1HD Super Joey access vehicle at MODEX 2020 on March 9-12 in Atlanta, USA.

Despite reduced attendance due to Coronavirus concerns, the Big Joe booth at MODEX remained busy.  “Obviously, floor traffic was reduced, but the people who were at the show were key decision-makers, and the allure of our new products kept a steady flow of interested people through the booth,” said Chief Marketing Officer Bill Pedriana.

On display were revolutionary 3,300lb and 4,400lb capacity pallet trucks that were designed and engineered specifically for Li-ion power.  They feature compact power heads resulting in the smallest footprints for pallet trucks of their rating, making them excellent choices for lift gate fleets.  Big Joe’s exclusive Easy Exchange lithium battery pack functions much like popular cordless hand tools. When paired with optional additional batteries, users can achieve nearly continuous runtime.

The NEW J1HD Super Joey is based on the incredible success of the Joey family of Task Support Vehicles, delivering the next level of performance and capability. With lift heights ranging from 162” – 210” and travel speeds up to 7mph the J1HD is particularly well suited for order picking in large DCs and warehouses.  The J1Hd is available with factory Li-ion power or standard industrial battery options.
